SOPA and PIPA

They are both american bills in their beginning stages. Not much has been put out on media like radio and television however the internet is crazy about it.... If all the forums are right I certainly don't agree with it.... however how can I be sure that people are not just misunderstanding them? The same way Chinese whispers works.... once one person hears wrong everyone else further down the line of information is going to get the wrong message as well.

Most will say well.... go have a look at the actual bill yourself, and I have... but its so full of political jargon that the average person won't understand it anyway..... I don't so can someone please explain it to me!

So here is what I would like to challenge you bloggers to do.... Go and read the original bills here are the links: SOPA BILL OVERVIEW and PIPA BILL OVERVIEW  Now read them.... try to understand them... and then come back here and comment about what they REALLY MEAN... by that I don't mean just your opinion based on what you read on twitter e.c.t. Proper, backed up by facts, debates like reasonable calm human beings.... 


What? As if your gonna go and do some actual work? If that's what your thinking then why have you read this far? How can you be passionate about a subject you have no real knowledge on? I DARE you to read them......

Free stuff

I decided to advertise some free art today.... that makes me ether extremely clever or extremely stupid, I am now bogged down with requests for art.

That's not necessarily  a bad thing though as I get to practice my art... and make people happy. Some of the ones so far are these. Along with these 3 I have 3 I'm doing right now and 3 waiting. And the best part.... these requests are from all over the world!!! I have requests from Mexico, America, the Netherlands, Canada and even the Philippines!! I'm worldwide!!! .... Just wish I was getting paid though...

I'm going commercial...

I've decided to sell some of my art.... one of my good ones .... this one in fact. I want to prove that I can actually make something of my art. So if you think It would look good on your wall take a look at my DA on the link at the side and check out my prints... Its the only one there right now, and its very different from my normal style so don't get worried if at first glance it doesn't look like the right artist!

I have finally worked out how to use screen tones (for those who don't know they are what you use to colour in black and white comics) Thank you internet for teaching me something for once....

To those who have been  searching for instructions on this I will give you what I know :D

• On Adobe Photoshop bring up the picture you wish to screen tone.
• Find a screen tone pattern on the internet you wish to use.
• On a second page paste the screen tone pattern.
• Zoom in to maximum and crop ONLY 4 Pixels anything more will screw up the pattern.
• Go to edit and scroll down to define pattern.
• Go back to your original picture and create a second layer.
• Set that layer to multiply and use the pattern stamp to colour in the patch you wish to colour.
• Because the layer is on multiply the lineart behind will show through.
• Rub out the excess screen tone with the eraser.
• Use separate layers set on multiply for each different screen tone pattern to make editing simpler

As the title suggest this is the first artwork I've done using Photoshop... hopefully the first of many where I can improve.....
